PRIVACY & INFORMATION SHARING

Know where
your information goes.

How information is handled when you use the estimate form or leave a voicemail.

Information you choose to submit

The estimate form asks for your name, phone number, service ZIP code, requested service, and an optional description. Please do not include payment details or other sensitive information. Submitting requests contact about this inquiry; it does not enroll you in a marketing list or book an appointment.

Where form requests go

The website saves estimate requests in a private database for the Portland Plumbing website operator to review. Records include the submitted name, phone number, service ZIP code, selected service, optional description, receipt reference, submission time, and the version of the contact disclosure. Submitting asks for contact about this inquiry; it does not enroll you in a marketing list or book a visit.

The private inquiry inbox is restricted to the site owner’s authenticated ChatGPT account. A receiving plumbing provider has not yet been assigned. If an available provider is identified, the operator may share the contact and service details needed to respond.

After saving, the website sends an email alert through the existing FormSubmit browser route to the operator’s intake inbox. A failure to confirm an email alert does not remove a saved request. The operator can review the saved record independently. The browser reports email-service acceptance separately; that report is not independent proof of mailbox delivery. Native forms without JavaScript use a server notification attempt. FormSubmit documents a 30-day submission archive; email copies remain in the operator’s mailbox until deleted. See FormSubmit’s privacy information and submission documentation.

Saved records include the originating service page, initial landing page, referring hostname if available, and supported campaign labels. These fields help identify the source of an inquiry. Contact entries are not saved in browser storage. Rotating digests of network addresses support abuse limits; raw network addresses are not stored in the inquiry tables. Records older than one year and expired abuse-limit records are removed during normal inquiry processing.

Telephone inquiries

The service-request number, (503) 427-1592, uses CallRail. Calls go to a greeting followed by voicemail, without ringing another phone. The operator has confirmed that a test message could be played back. CallRail processes call logs, caller information, and any voicemail you choose to leave. Do not include payment details in a message. See CallRail’s privacy policy.

Browsing and attribution

The site keeps the initial landing path, referring hostname, and supported campaign labels in this tab’s session storage so they can follow an inquiry between pages. Names, phone numbers, ZIP codes, descriptions, and form entries are not saved there. Attribution still works for the current page if storage is unavailable. Closing the tab normally ends this storage session.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures page visits, phone-link clicks, and requests confirmed saved by this website. A phone click does not prove a call connected, and a saved request does not prove a booking. The Google tag loads only after you agree. Names, phone numbers, ZIP codes, descriptions, and request references are not sent as analytics event fields. Page addresses exclude arbitrary query strings and fragments; supported campaign labels are limited to simple letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens. Referring addresses are reduced to their website origin. Google also processes routine device and connection information. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled.

Analytics cookies identify a browser and expire after 30 days, renewing with a visit. Your analytics choice is kept in this browser’s local storage until you change or clear it. Use the “Analytics choices” button in the footer to change your choice. Choosing “No thanks” stops future analytics events and removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals keep analytics off. Blocking storage may cause the choice to appear again. See Google’s privacy policy. Worksheet opens, use, download clicks, print requests and inquiry-link clicks are measured separately from saved project requests. Worksheet values are never sent to Analytics. Download and print events record an action, not confirmed file saving or a completed print job. The worksheet does not save or upload completed entries.

Hosting and form processing

Hosting services process routine connection information needed to serve the website and control preview access. FormSubmit processes notification emails after an inquiry has been saved. The website also validates fields, limits repeated requests, and checks a hidden spam field.

Questions about your information

To ask the website operator about a request or request deletion of a saved inquiry or email copy, leave a voicemail at (503) 427-1592, with enough information to identify your request. A provider that receives your information handles its own records and service arrangements.

Referral-source information

Updated October 21, 2026. With a submitted request, we may save the landing page path, referring website hostname, and bounded campaign or referral labels to understand which resource brought you here. These limited fields are kept in this browser tab during your visit; form entries are not stored there. Contact details in URL query strings are not collected for attribution. The saved source fields follow the inquiry retention policy above.
